Commercial

Tenant guide

What to expect while you are renting a commercial property from us.

Who to contact

You have a named property manager at AMCO. For anything to do with your lease, your rent or the building, they are your first point of contact. If you are not sure who that is, get in touch and we will point you the right way.

Reporting a repair

If something needs fixing, report it through our repairs portal so it is logged and tracked. Urgent safety issues, such as a gas leak or a loss of power to the whole building, should be phoned through straight away.

Service charge, in plain terms

Service charge is your share of the cost of running and maintaining the shared parts of the building, things like communal areas, lighting and upkeep. We collect it and account for it clearly, and you get a statement showing where it went.

Rent and payments

Rent is usually paid monthly or quarterly, as set out in your lease. You can pay online at any time. If you ever expect to be late, tell us early and we will work with you.

Coming to the end of your lease

As your lease nears its end, we will be in touch about your options, whether that is renewing, moving on, or changing the space you take. The earlier we talk, the more room there is to get you the right outcome.
