Report a repair

For commercial tenants.

Commercial repairs work differently to residential ones. Before reporting anything, check your lease — then email your property manager.

  1. 1

Check the terms of your lease

Your lease sets out who is responsible for what. Under most commercial leases the tenant repairs and maintains the inside of the unit, while the landlord looks after the structure, the roof and any shared areas. Some leases put more on the tenant than that. Checking first tells you whether the repair is yours to arrange or ours.

  2. 2

    Email your property manager

If it is a landlord responsibility, email the property manager you normally deal with. Tell them the unit and site, what the problem is, when it started, and attach a photo if you can. If you are not sure who your property manager is, use the address below and we will pass it on.

Not sure who to contact?

Send it to our commercial team and we will make sure it reaches the right person.

If someone is in danger, or there is a fire, gas leak or major flood, call the emergency services first.
